It is here that I can experiment, cast aside rules, frames and boundaries. The subject matter: anything, anywhere – an event, a place…whatever may capture my imagination. As was the case with Antelope Canyon, it can be a spiritual journey for me. It, too, is an opportunity to create work that has cultural significance or to highlight a subject that could be commonplace yet not “popular” or mainstream. In truth, the next project is in disguise – therein lies the excitement and the wonder it has for me. Yet I know that it will be marked by pure freedom of discovery and expression; and when I learn of it…see it…I will want to explore it as far as my being will allow.
